The Bently 3300 XL 8mm Proximity Sensor System includes a 3300 XL 8mm probe, a 3300 XL extension cable, and a 3300 XL Proximitor. The system provides an output voltage conductive surface that is proportional to the probe and the observed distance, and can measure static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The main applications of this system are vibration and position measurement on fluid film bearing machines, as well as keyphase reference and velocity measurement. The standard 3300 XL 8mm 5m system also conforms to the American Petroleum Institute (API) for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8mm proximity sensor systems provide this level of performance and support interchangeable probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors without the need for matching or bench calibration of individual components.
